Three Paper Pigs began in March 2004, when Jeanne lay awake at night. She wanted to squeeze every last bit of creative juice left in her thoughts before closing her eyes. She just finished reading the "Three Little Pigs" to her daughter. As she rose to get a last drink of water, she stepped over the splendid tale she read for three nights in a row. Boy, did those portly pigs look cute with their round tummies and curly tails, not to mention they were pink... a promising logo indeed! Jeanne has an interesting background in retail sales, marketing and coffee slinging, but is mostly a graphic designer. In this role she created award-winning retail signs, which she can still prove by the original sketches tucked away in her closet. She spends sleepless hours illustrating, squinting at her color swatches, scrutinizing over the perfect font and testing her products on loyal customers before marketing them in her card shoppe. The sporadic inspiration for her card designs blooms from doodles on restaurant napkins, daily commentaries from her daughter, window displays at the mall, vintage soap labels, wallpaper, but most often, her dreams. Jeanne hopes you find a design that tickles your fancy. Otherwise, contact her to discuss your design ideas! |
